• Virtual: New York, Florida

    In-person: Brooklyn, New York

  • Appointments are generally about 50 minutes.

The expectation for new clients is to meet weekly at least until there is a good flow going (getting to know each other, learning a lot about the client, setting goals and making significant progress). Many clients continue weekly while others discuss a plan after some time to start meeting every other week. I also meet with clients more than once per week in certain circumstances.

  • The full fee per clinical hour is $250. Couples and family therapy have a different fee than other services, which is $300 per clinical hour. Sliding scale fees are available for all services. Please inquire directly about fees for psychological testing and evaluations.

  • I accept private pay clients and I’m an in-network provider with Aetna/Meritain and Northwell Direct.

  • Many clients are not able to keep the same weekly time and need to change the day/time of their appointment every week. Others prefer to keep the same time every week. I am able to accommodate for all of these different needs.

  • I am happy to answer all of them! You are welcome to contact me directly by email (drlaradicarlo@gmail.com) or work cell text (347 509 7050). You can also schedule a free consultation (calendly.com/drlaradicarlo).

  • You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost over the course of one (1) year.

Under new law (2022), healthcare providers are required to provide an estimate of the cost of one (1) year of services to patients who either do not have insurance or who are not using insurance.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services and may request one at any time during the course of your care.

If you receive an invoice that is at least $400 greater than is outlined in your Good Faith Estimate, you are permitted to dispute the invoice.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises

  • Each session time is reserved for you. Because it’s often difficult to fill an appointment on short notice, I ask for at least four full days’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

Appointments canceled with less notice are typically charged the full session fee.

Insurance does not cover late cancellations or missed sessions, but I can bill the fee directly to you. I also understand that unexpected things can happen and true emergencies are always handled with care and flexibility on an individual basis.

If it’s easier for you to schedule when you’re certain you can attend, you’re welcome to use my Calendly link to book appointments closer to the time, even up to the same day if a spot is available.
